Welcome to Bikram Yoga Nijmegen, an officially affiliated Bikram Yoga School. We hope we can soon welcome you in our studio, to practice Bikram's Beginning Yoga Class. For us, this is the most exciting, hard-working, effective an fun Yoga class in the world. Sweat, strain, laugh, and do more for your health, body, and general wellbeing than you ever imagined possible. Bikram's is unlike any other Yoga classes.

Bikram Yoga is the Original Hot Yoga!! It is a very specific 90 minute series of 26 postures and two breathing exercises performed in a room heated to 40⁰C. Bikram Yoga helps balance the Mind, Body and Spirit. Bikram Yoga is suitable for all ages and levels of ability. Famous for its miraculous results, Bikram Yoga is used for the prevention and treatment of many chronic diseases, illnesses and injuries. It has been scientifically and medically proven (a.o. Colorado State University, 2008) to be a uniquely beneficial form of exercise tailored for our cultural problems of stress, bad posture and poor eating habits.
Bikram Yoga builds strength, balance and flexibility by stretching and massaging the spine, muscles, ligaments, tendons, joints, and organs of the body. The movements are performed in a scientific, logical sequence. By moving fresh, oxygenated blood to 100% of the body, Bikram Yoga restores all systems to optimal health and maximum function. The postures develop concentration, patience, determination and self-control, thereby increasing mental clarity and reducing stress. A regular Bikram Yoga practice creates proper weight, muscle tone, vibrant health, and peace of mind.
